Pakistan-Japan Relations Japanese Consul General Invites Pakistani Businessmen to Enhance Trade

Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo, President FPCCI, has welcomed remarks by H.E. Toshikazo Isomura, Consul General of Japan in Karachi; where he briefed and welcomed the participants of Pakistan-Japan Business Council of FPCCI on the bilateral trade potential between the two countries.
H.E. Toshikazo Isomura pleasantly surprised the audience with his fluency in Urdu language and made it possible to conduct most of the meeting in Urdu. He said that the Pakistani businessmen are welcome to explore non-traditional sectors of trade between the two countries. He specifically emphasized the need to explore opportunities in Food and IT industries.
H.E. Toshikazo Isomura expressed his pleasure over the improving law & order situation in Pakistan – as this will enable more Japanese companies to come to Pakistan.
Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo offered his support to H.E. Toshikazo Isomura from the platform of FPCCI to connect them with Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITES (PASHA) to enhance the cooperation in IT sector. He also welcomed H.E. Toshikazo Isomura to more frequently visit the Federation House and also plan bilateral trade exhibitions when the COVID-related restrictions are over.
Mr. Hanif Lakhany, VP FPCCI, expressed his desire to see Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) becoming more active in Pakistan as more Pakistani businessmen want to do business and trade with Japan.
Mr. Rameez Sattar, Chairman, Pakistan Japan Business Council, said that Japanese products have the best standards in the world; coupled with their excellent and fair business practices.
FPCCI wishes to see more Japanese companies doing business with Pakistan and have bilateral trade at the level that justifies the potential and demand of huge populations of two countries.
